I became CEO of Gray Manufacturing Company, Inc. in January 2003.
But you can say I've been with Gray my entire life. I grew up in
this company. As a kid, when my father ran the company, I worked
summer jobs in shipping and manufacturing. I've known some of the
people since I was in grade school. I know they are up to any challenges
of the modern marketplace. With a team-based approach to the principles
of lean manufacturing, we constantly work to make our processes
more efficient and innovative. Our employees also understand what
our customers mean to us. Our customers talk to us and we listen
- all of us, so we know what they want. These customer conversations
made Gray what it is today. Our relationship with our customers
sets us apart and we won't forget it.
